About the Instructor

Sam has over 18 years experience in sales, marketing and customer experience and uses a human centred methodology to help her clients grow their businesses.  She creates strategies that help them reach and connect with their ideal customers at the best time with a compelling message and great experience.  

Not just a passionate about helping businesses grow, Sam has been teaching individuals and business how to do this for themselves for the last 5 years.  She completed a Masters in Teaching at the University of Melbourne to ensure that her students are able to fully comprehend and practically apply all that she teaches.  

She was also the Lead Instructor for Digital Marketing at General Assembly. 

Sam has an engaging manner and can make even the most complex concepts and jargon easily understandable and relatable for students.

In this course, students will learn the essential components of marketing a start-up.

Using elements of strategic foresight, design thinking principles, and marketing fundamentals this course is aimed at developing an in-depth knowledge and action plan of the most effective way to create connection with the business’ customers which will, in turn, enable success in receiving investment, going to market, or growing the business.  

This learning will also inform business strategy and works to integrate LEAN thinking and harmonise marketing strategy against business objectives.
